These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through www.velvella.shop.
1. Applicable French Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by applicable French law, including the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation) and, where applicable, the French Civil Code (Code civil).
For online distance contracts, the applicable provisions of Articles L221-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code apply.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any mandatory consumer right provided by French law.
2. Consumer Protection
Consumers benefit from statutory protections under the French Consumer Code, including the statutory right of withdrawal under Article L221-18 for eligible distance contracts.
Consumers may also benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité) under Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, sizes, colours, and other product information are accurate and up to date.
Minor differences in colour or appearance may occur depending on the customer's device or screen settings.
4. Prices
Product prices, applicable delivery charges, available payment methods, and the final order amount will be displayed during checkout before the customer completes the purchase.
5. Orders
When you submit an order through our website, you are requesting to purchase the selected products.
An order confirmation may be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
6. Payment
Available payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal.
7. Order Processing and Delivery
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days.
Estimated delivery time is generally 6–9 business days after processing.
8. Returns and Refunds
Velvella offers a voluntary 30-day return period for eligible change-of-mind returns.
This voluntary 30-day return policy does not replace or limit the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code.
Refunds resulting from a valid statutory withdrawal are handled in accordance with Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code.
9. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits the consumer's statutory rights under the legal guarantee of conformity provided by Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
10. Website Use
Customers must not use the website for unlawful purposes, attempt to interfere with its operation, or knowingly introduce malicious code or harmful material.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability to the extent that such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable French law.
